Mum & Baby yoga
A playful, relaxed and safe class mixing yoga for baby and yoga for mum, to support your baby's natural physical and cognitive development, as well as your post-natal recovery, and enjoy some precious fun time together.
Baby yoga movements include stretching, circling, balancing, swings and mini drops, all set to fun rhymes and songs for your baby's delight! These exercises will help promote your baby’s body strength, co-ordination, balance, flexibility, body awareness, confidence and spatial awareness. Baby yoga is also known to improve sleep patterns, aid respiration and digestion, and help relieve the symptoms of colic.
Through this class, you will also pick up tips and techniques to support your (new) life with a baby, including different ways to lift, hold and carry your ever-growing little one, transition safely from sittin to standing to lying down, playful rhymes and movements to share a smile or laugh with your baby back at home.
Each class ends with a lovely deep relaxation to rest and recharge.
Suitable for babies from 10 weeks. A great follow on from baby massage.
No prior experience of yoga necessary! Movements and postures are simple, safe and gentle, and there is no pressure to do anything that you or your baby might not be comfortable doing.
Little ones may need to feed, cuddle, get changed or sleep during class; this is absolutely fine in this relaxed class!
The class also provides an opportunity to meet and chat with other new mums :-)
All equipment provided. Just bring a blanket for your baby to lie on.
Classes run weekly on Thursdays, 11.30am - 12.45pm

Cost: £84 per 6-week term
It is possible to join a term that has already started. Cost is proportional to the number of sessions left in the term.
